                                            Department of International Relations (DIR), GTU is committed to manage, expand and enhance international relations and activities of the University.
Its major activities comprise of

    Student Exchange through International Experience Program (IEP) and Winter School Program (WSP)
 
    - Managing various activities regarding full time International Student at GTU
 
    - Collaboration with Foreign Universities through MoUs
 
    - Exploring and managing various joint academic programs with foreign universities
  
    - Appointing international co-supervisors for the GTU PhD program
 
    - Joint events like Conferences, Workshops and Research projects with foreign universities 
 
    - Joint Collaborations with foreign Industries like establishing centre for excellence
 
    GTU has 35 plus Foreign University Partners in the areas of student exchange, faculty exchange and joint research projects located at America, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa.
                                            
                                        
                                        
                                            GTU has signed the MOU with renowned universities of Canada, Germany, USA, Russia,
                                            Poland, New Zealand, China, UK, Taiwan, Bhutan, South Africa, Netherlands and Slovenia.
                                            GTU arranges the International Experience Program (IEP) for its students for several
                                            countries since 2011 where the students visit universities, which are GTU’s foreign
                                            partners, in the semester gap and study two (Pre decided) subjects of their respective
                                            courses. GTU is sending students to Canada, USA, Russia and Germany under this program
                                            in the month of June and July every year since 2011. More than 1100 students from
                                            various branches of Management, Engineering and Pharmacy have participated in International
                                            Experience Program (IEP) till date from 2011.
